Katari Udayapur

 Katari is a municipality located in the Udayapur District of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal. The municipality covers an area of 223.97 square kilometers and has a population of around 70,000 people as of 2021.

Mayor of this city is Hon. Rajesh Chandra Shrestha and deputy Mayor is Hon. Gita Khadka


The municipality is located on the banks of the Triyuga River and is known for its scenic beauty and cultural diversity. The area is home to various ethnic groups, including the Rai, Limbu, Magar, Tamang, Brahmin, Chhetri, and Newar communities.
